The Army Reserve Careers Group (ARCG) Deputy, Mr. Denis Petcovic, arrived at ARCG in February 2003 and has an extensive retention and military background. Mr. Denis Petcovic retired from the US Army Reserve, Active/Guard Reserve (AGR) program holding the rank of Colonel.
Mr. Petcovic held a variety of demanding positions throughout his career to include 94th Regional Readiness Command (RRC) Chief of Staff, 655th Area Support Group (ASG) Commander, Director of Officer Personnel Management, Human Resources Command (HRC) Saint Louis, Chief Retention Officer 99th RRC, and Office of the Chief Army Reserve (OCAR) operations officer.
Mr. Petcovic completed the Harvard Kennedy School of Government Senior Executive Fellows Program, the Federal Executive Institute (FEI), Leadership for a Democratic Society Program, the US Army War College, the US Army Command and General Staff College; US Army Master Fitness School and a variety of other military schools. Mr. Petcovic holds a Master of Arts degree from the University of Northern Colorado and a Bachelor of Science from California University of Pennsylvania.
Mr. Petcovic’s military awards include the Legion of Merit with Oak Leaf cluster, the Meritorious Service Medal with 4 Oak Leaf Clusters; the Army Commendation Medal with 3 oak Leaf clusters; the Army Achievement Medal with Oak Leaf Cluster; the Army Reserve Component Achievement Medal; The Department of the Army Staff Identification Badge and the German Armed Forces Efficiency Badge, Bronze.
