Brigadier General Todd M. Lazaroski

Commanding General, 412th Theater Engineer Command

     Brigadier General Todd M. Lazaroski is the Commanding General of the 412th Theater Engineer Command located in Vicksburg, MS. Prior to this assignment, he served as the Commanding General of the 87th Training Command. In this capacity, he sought to establish the 87th as a world class OC/T and Mission Command Training Division.

     BG Lazaroski was commissioned through the State University of New York College of Environmental Science and Forestry where he obtained his Bachelors of Landscape Architecture Degree. In May 1993, he joined the New York Army National Guard as a Second Lieutenant in the Corps of Engineers. In 2000, BG Lazaroski transitioned to the United States Army Reserve and has been a member of the Army for more than 27 years.

     His assignments include: Platoon Leader of the 204th Engineers in Horseheads, New York. He served as the Company Commander of the 204th Engineers in Oneonta, New York. After Company Command, he became the S1 for 2nd/381st Training Support Battalion, 4th Brigade, 75th Division (Training Support) located in Grand Prairie, TX. He then became the S3 for the 3d Battalion, 377th Regiment, 2nd Brigade (Basic Combat Training), 95th Division (Institutional Training) in Shreveport, LA. Subsequently, he became the Executive Officer for the 3d Battalion, 377th Regiment, 2nd Brigade (Basic Combat Training), 95th Division (Institutional Training) in Shreveport, LA. He mobilized as the Secretary to the General Staff, United States Army Corps of Engineers, Gulf Region Division during Operation Iraqi Freedom in Iraq. He then became the Commander of the 7th Battalion, 95th Regiment, 4th Brigade (Personnel Services), 94th Training Division (Force Sustainment) in Grand Prairie, TX. He moved on to become the Executive Officer of the 368th Engineer Detachment, Facilities Engineer Support Team-Main in Decatur, GA. In his next assignment, he served as the Operations Officer, J3, within the United States Army Element in Washington, D.C. He continued in his military service as the Chief of Staff of the Southern Division, 75th Training Command located in Houston, TX. He then became the Commander of the 2nd Brigade, Gulf Training Division, 75th Training Command in Birmingham, AL. He then served as the Commander of the 1st Brigade, 95th Training Division, 108th Training Command in Fort Sill, OK. Most recently, he operated as the Deputy Commander – Support for the 412th Engineer Command in Vicksburg, MS, then became the Commanding General of the 87th Training Division in Birmingham, AL.

     BG Lazaroski’s awards include the Legion of Merit, the Defense Meritorious Service Medal, the Meritorious Service Medal, the Army Commendation Medal, the Army Achievement Medal, the Parachutist Badge, and the Joint Chiefs of Staff Identification Badge.

     He received his Masters Degree from Lemoyne College in Business Administration. His military schools include the Engineer Officer Basic and Advanced Courses, the Adjutant General Officer Advanced Course, the Combined Arms and Services Staff School, the Advanced Joint Professional Military Education, the United States Army Command and General Staff College, and the United States Army War College.

     BG Lazaroski is a Process Analyst for State Farm. This position allows him to apply Six Sigma and Project Management methodologies for business operations. He resides in Coppell, TX with his wife, Ellen, and two children, Margaret and Philip.
