During AUSA, Ambassadors Phil Stage (CA), Dan Furtado (CA), and Lance Lehr (TX) had an in depth conversation with Olympic athletes 1LT Amber English and SSG Sandra Uptagrafft, who are both Army Reserve Soldiers. They spoke about 1LT Amber English and SSG Sandra Uptagrafft’s careers in the Reserve and how they trained for their incredible successes in the USAR and in the World Class Athlete Program. They also discussed their motivations and their goals as well as how they feel about being world class athletes. Finally they talked about how these two elite athletes can support recruiting in the USAR.
