The U.S. Army Reserve’s 99th Readiness Division hosted a Yellow Ribbon event Sept. 12-14 at the Sheraton Philadelphia Downtown. Rev. Dr. Paul V. McCullough III, Army Reserve Ambassador for Pennsylvania, served as keynote speaker for the event. Yellow Ribbon events span the deployment cycle - pre-deployment prep, mid-tour virtual check-ins and post-deployment reintegration - to connect families with vital resources, all backed by the program’s emphasis on family well-being. Army Reserve nurse from Colorado Springs mobilized to support federal response to COVID-19
U.S. Army Reserve 1st Lt. Michelle Kaplan, a critical care nurse, from Colorado Springs, Colo., mobilized with an Urban Augmentation Medical Task Force that is supporting DHR Health in Edinburg, Texas as part of the Department of Defense support to COVID-19. U.S. Northern Command, through U.S. Army North, remains committed to providing flexible Department of Defense support to the Federal Emergency Management Agency in support of the whole-of-America COVID-19 response.
