CIMIC teams find common ground in Rapid Trident 19

YAVORIV, Ukraine - In front of a computerized tomography (CT) scanner, Civil-Military Cooperation (CIMIC) teams comprised of Ukraine and U.S. service members from Civil Affairs units review new equipment Sept. 18 at a hospital near Yavoriv, Ukraine, during Rapid Trident 2019. The CIMIC teams toured facilities that provide key public services such as water, electricity and viable life support. RT19 is an annual, multinational exercise, which involves approximately 3,700 personnel from 14 nations, that supports joint combined interoperability among the partner militaries of Ukraine and the United States, as well as Partnership for Peace nations and NATO allies.
