YAUCO, Puerto Rico - U.S. Army Reserve Staff Sgt. Emmanuel Minier, answers questions for U.S. Army Reserve Sgt. Carlos J. Garcia, a public affairs professional assigned to the 220th Public Affairs Detachment, based out of Southfield, Michigan, near Yauco, Puerto Rico, Oct. 7, 2017. Minier, who is from Canovanas, Puerto Rico, is a construction supervisor assigned to the 471st Engineering Company, 448th Engineering Battalion, 210th Regional Support Group, based out of Fort Buchanan, Puerto Rico. Minier is part of a team of Army Reserve soldiers tasked with the clearing of road 372, near Yauco, during Hurricane Maria relief efforts. America’s Army Reserve has soldiers and equipment in more than 1,100 communities across the nation, allowing them to immediately respond to local emergencies. . (U. S. Army Reserve photo by Sgt.
