FORT CHAFFEE, Ark. - Active Army Soldiers from the 502nd Multi Role Bridge Co., race to "catch" interior bridge bay sections dropped by CH-47 Chinook helicopters to stage and put together. U.S. Army, Active and Reserve Soldiers join with Active and Reserve Marine components to deploy, construct and assemble an approximately 320 meter floating improved ribbon bridge across the Arkansas River during River Assault 2017, at Fort Chaffee Maneuver Center, Ark., July 26, 2017. River Assault 2017 is a two-week extended combat training exercise held July 15-28 focusing on technical skills, of various service members, culminating with the construction of a floating improved ribbon bridge across the Arkansas River. Operation River Assault is one of the key training events, which demonstrates America’s Army Reserve is the most capable, combat ready, and lethal Federal Reserve Force in the history of the nation.  (U.S. Army Reserve Photo by Staff Sgt.
