JOINT BASE McGUIRE-DIX-LAKEHURST, N.J. - Lt. Gen. Charles D. Luckey, Chief of Army Reserve and commanding general, U.S. Army Reserve Command, addresses U.S. Army Reserve Urban Augmentation Medical Task Force Soldiers, May 7 2020 at Joint Base McGuire-Dix-Lakehurst, New Jersey, as the UAMTFs return from locations across the nation in response to the COVID-19 pandemic. Luckey leads a community-based, federal reserve force of more than 200,000 Soldiers and civilians that includes 50 states, five territories and more than 30 countries. U.S. Northern Command, through U.S. Army North, remains committed to providing flexible Department of Defense support to the Federal Emergency Management Agency for the whole-of-nation COVID-19 Response.
