Col. Joel Severson, Command Chaplain, conducted a suicide prevention and awareness brief to the 85th Support Command soldiers during their April battle assembly. Suicide is a top priority in the Army to combat. According to a Pentagon data release (via Military Times) the suicide rates for reservists and National Guard members rose 23 percent last year.
