ASHLAND, Neb. - A food thermometer sits in a U.S. Army Reserve Soldier’s sleeve pocket in Camp Ashland, Nebraska, Feb. 3, 2018. Soldiers from the 530th Military Police Battalion, under the 200th MP Command, used Camp Ashland as the location for their event in the Department of the Army’s Philip A. Connelly Awards Program for Excellence in Army Food Service. The 530th MP Bn. are one of four finalists representing the U.S. Army Reserve competing in the Connelly competition this year -- the premier culinary competition within the Department of the Army.
