47th Joint Culinary Training Exercise
Sgt. Jacob Hernandez, 375th Quartermaster Company under the 377th Theater Sustainment Command, cooks scallops during a nutritional hot food challenge exercise at Fort Lee, Virginia, March 8, 2023. During this exercise, chefs have 90 minutes to prepare and plate a four course meal that must meet strict nutritional guidelines. Service members from all branches of the military and three international teams gather at Fort Lee to compete in the 47th Joint Culinary Training Exercise. Service members compete both individually and as teams to show off their skills in various culinary exercises.
