Cpl. Kelly B. Grothe Army Reserve Center memorialized in honor of fallen Soldiers service and sacrifice
Members of the 455th Engineer Company and the 659th Engineer Company reflect quietly during the memorialization ceremony of the Cpl. Kelly B. Grothe Army Reserve Center in Hayden, Idaho, Oct. 22. Grothe was a United States Army Combat Engineer assigned to Bravo Company, 321st Engineer Battalion, who was killed in action while conducting route clearance operations in the area of Abu Bali, Iraq during the Global War on Terrorism, May 3, 2007. He was 21 years old.
