General’s trunk makes homecoming to 416th Theater Engineer Command
Todd and Beverly Parkhurst talk in their Chicago home in between the Brig. Gen. Don A. Parkhurst World War II trunk. Their father and father-in-law, respectively, is the namesake of the Parkhurst Army Reserve Center, which is the headquarters of the 416th Theater Engineer Command in Darien, Illinois. The couple donated his trunk to the unit.
