United States Armed Forces Culinary Arts Team Recognition

FORT GREGG-ADAMS, Va. - Staff Sgt. Steven Philipps and Sgt. Shanea Benner, 316th Sustainment Command (Expeditionary), pose with their awards following the 49th Culinary Training Event awards ceremony at Fort Gregg-Adams, Va. on March 7, 2025. Philipps received a gold, silver, and bronze medal during the competition. Benner received a gold and bronze medal while also being selected as the 2025 Armed Forces Pastry Chef of the Year. The JCTE is the largest competition of its kind in North America with teams participating from across the Department of Defense and included national military teams from France, Great Britain, and Germany.
