CHICAGO, Ill. - The Bersaglieri Marching Band, a military marching band from the island of Sicily, performed at the 67th Annual Columbus Day Parade in Chicago, October 14, 2019.The Bersaglieri are considered a corp of the Italian Army. The Joint Civic Committee of Italian Americans sponsored the parade that showcased nearly 110 marching units and floats, from various community and ethnic organizations. “Food and Culture” was the theme of this year’s parade. One of the newest attractions of this year’s parade was the Bersaglieri marching band that traveled from Sicily. (U.S. Army Reserve photo by Sgt. David Lietz)
