Command Sergeant Major Corey A. Thompson born in Rochester, New York enlisted in the United States Army August 1989. He completed One Stop Unit Training at Fort Knox, Kentucky and was awarded the military occupational skill 19K Armor Crewman serving 9 years on Active duty. In 1998 CSM transitioned to the United States Army Reserve, where he attended training and was awarded the 12B Combat Engineer. In 2007, CSM was selected to serve in the Active Guard Reserve Program.
