Russell Yerakes, a triage medic and native of Somersworth, New Hampshire, assigned to the 456th Medical Company (Area Support), ties a yellow ribbon around a "victims" wrist after assessing her injuries during a mass casualty decontamination event at the Jacobi Medical Center, Bronx, New York, Sept. 28. The event, involving nearly 100 Army Reserve Soldiers, was part of a two-day consequence management training event focused on mass casualty decontamination, CBRN reconnaissance and medical operations along side multiple civilian agencies in and around New York City.
