353rd CACOM supports New York City Marathon

NEW YORK - Maj. Josh James, HHC Commander, 353 Civil Affairs Command coordinates with more than a dozen federal, state, municipal and private agencies at the Joint Operations Center of the 2023 New York City Marathon on November 5, 2023. This year's New York City Marathon was the year's largest event of its kind in world with nearly 52,000 participants from 148 countries and all 50 states. The 353rd CACOM is likewise the largest military unit of its kind with approximately 4,000 soldiers across 19 states and a presence in multiple foreign theaters.
