AZEL KHELOWAY, Niger - U.S. Army Capt. Jordan Simpson, a civil affairs team leader from the 443rd Civil Affairs Battalion (CAB), assigned to the 409th Air Expeditionary Group, fist bumps a child from Azel Kheloway, Niger, June 13, 2022. While visiting the village, the civil affairs team discussed the need for a medical clinic in the village, and the 404th CAB introduced the new civil affairs team from the 443rd CAB and bid farewell to village leaders and citizens who they’ve built relationships with as a part of the enduring relationship between the U.S. and the citizens of Niger.
