HOHENFELS, Germany - Inside 1st Armored Brigade Combat Team, 1st Infantry Division’s tactical operations center, Capt. Alexander Dorchimont, an attorney from New York City, opened his laptop on a collapsible table and sat on a metal folding chair – establishing the civil-military operations center or “CMOC.” This connected the civil affairs mission to the operation. The U.S. Army Reserve Soldiers from the Danbury, Conn., based 411th Civil Affairs Battalion supported the brigade in December 2021, during Combined Resolve XVI at the Joint Multinational Readiness Center.
