SCHOFIELD BARRACKS, Hawaii - The Western Army Reserve Intelligence Support Center wrapped up PELE STRIKE 2026, its premier annual intelligence discipline certification event, after two weeks of joint training designed to test, validate, and strengthen critical military intelligence capabilities at Area X-Ray on Schofield Barracks. During the exercise, 140 Soldiers trained on small unmanned aircraft systems, gaining situational understanding and readiness in the employment of sUAS for intelligence, protection, and defensive countermeasure functions. The training included both simulation and live flying, further expanding the exercise’s contribution to operational adaptability and mission readiness.
