CAMP SHELBY, Miss. - Louisiana National Guard Soldiers assigned to Alpha Battery, 1-141st Field Artillery, 256th Infantry Brigade, Jackson Barracks, Louisiana prepare an M-119 Alpha Three Howitzer for a fire support mission during Exportable Combat Training Capability 24-01 at Camp Shelby, Mississippi. Field artillery units provide protection during convoy movements and allow Soldiers to move throughout the battlefield. Army Reserve observer coach/trainers and mechanics, assigned to the 85th U.S. Army Reserve Support Command, provided training and logistic support to XCTC 24-01 exercise for the National Guard units, ahead of upcoming deployments.
