General’s trunk makes homecoming to 416th Theater Engineer Command
Todd Parkhurst, the son of Brig. Gen. Don A. Parkhurst, the namesake of the Parkhurst Army Reserve Center and the headquarters of the 416th Theater Engineer Command in Darien, Illinois, shows off the unit patch and pin on the World War II bomber jacket he has kept and wears to this day. The Parkhursts donated the World War II trunk to the unit upon their move to Florida.
