Armed Forces Reserve Center houses FEMA team in Vermont
The Federal Emergency Management Administration (FEMA) Incident Support Team (IST) White inside the assembly hall at the White River Junction Armed Forces Reserve Center in White River Junction, Vermont, on July 16, 2023. The IST was deployed to assist urban search and rescue operations in Vermont associated with recent flooding in the area. The facility, owned and operated by the 99th Readiness Division, allows the IST to have a base of operations in a central location complete with resources for expansion and life support for the duration of their mission.
