364th ESC SASMO technical assistance improves equipment readiness
January 10, 2019
Personnel from the 364th ESC’s SAMSO conducted a three-day staff assistance visit to the 652nd RSG in Helena, Montana, to ensure that not only the unit’s VSATs and CAISI equipment are fully mission capable and current on all software, but that operators are also trained in the setup, operation and tear down of the VSAT. Equipment upgrade was critical to the VSAT and CAISI laptops, given without it they be non-mission capable.

“The Soldiers worked hard on grasping the cumbersome job of setting up the VSAT, and were able to set it up to standard. They were very highly motivated, and took ownership of maintaining their equipment,” said Chief Warrant Officer 3 James Randazzo of the 364th ESC.
