Ammo handlers keep rounds firing at Cold Steel

New Jersey remembers 100th anniversary of Camp Dix, World War I

Col. Martin F. Klein, deputy commander of JBMDL and commander of Army Support Activity, Fort Dix, joins New Jersey Lieutenant Governor and Secretary of State Kim Guadagno and Air Force Brig. Gen. Michael L. Cunniff, adjutant general of New Jersey, to commemorate the 100th anniversaries of the creation of Camp Dix and America’s entry into World War I during a centennial commemoration April 6 at the Trenton War Memorial in New Jersey. The event was hosted by the New Jersey Historical Commission to honor the contributions of the nearly 140,000 New Jerseyans who served during the First World War, many of whom attended basic combat training at the newly formed Camp Dix.

Headquarters staff hits marksmanship with high qualification rate

Army Reserve unit prepares Reserve and Guard forces ahead of deployments

The Army Reserve’s 3/335th Training Support Battalion, based out of Fort Sheridan Illinois, per-forms battalion physical training on March 28, 2017 at Fort Hood, Texas. The 3/335th TSBn re-cently arrived to Fort Hood, Texas for a one-year mobilization to train Army Reserve and Na-tional Guard units for overseas deployments in support of operational needs of the Army and our joint partners.

Army Reserve Soldiers mobilize to train and equip a ready force

Army Reserve Sgt. Mindy Baptist, observer coach/trainer assigned to the 3/335th Training Support Battalion, based out of Fort Sheridan, Illinois, stretches out after morning battalion physical training exercise. Baptist is on her first mobilization in 11 years of service. The 3/335th TSBn, operationally controlled by First Army, recently began a one-year mobilization to train and equip Army Reserve and National Guard units ahead of overseas deployments to remain effective as the most capable, combat ready and lethal Federal Reserve force in the history of the nation.
