Senior leaders forum helps educate educators

Sgt. 1st Class Bill Keever, Arizona State University ROTC assistant primary military science instructor, asks a question about career progression, during a senior leader seminar held at Joint Base Lewis McChord, Wash., Aug. 6. Sixty-seven Military Science Instructors from 150 Universities spread throughout 26 states were present during the seminar as part of an annual training development event designed to tap into senior leader mentoring and motivational techniques as well as provide a forum for the exchange of ideas and best practices. 88th Regional Support Command Regional Training Workshop

Twenty-eight Army Reserve Ambassadors from 16 states attending the 88th RSC’s ARA Workshop on Fort McCoy, take a group photo, July 15. The workshop provided the ambassadors information on the current and future structure of the Army Reserve, how the Army Reserve fits into overall Army readiness and what the ambassadors can do to assist Soldiers in their states. Speakers included Army Reserve leadership, general officers with units in the 88th RSC’s 19-state region, as well as Fort McCoy garrison command staff, 86th Training Division command staff and 88th RSC command staff.

Signal Command Soldiers provide Color Guard for golf tournament fund raiser

The event called “Birdies for the Brave”, is a national military outreach initiative dedicated to honoring and showing appreciation to the courageous men and women of the United States Armed Forces and their families.  Originally created in 2006 by one of the golfing world’s elite players, Phil Mickelson and his wife Amy, it has since been expanded to include military outreach and appreciation activities during PGA tour events, TPCs and partner courses across the nation.
