Providing care to finish the fight
May 23, 2016 — Soldiers from across the United States converged at Fort Hunter Liggett, Calif., May 9 to 20, to participate in various exercises. The terrain was uneven, treacherous and dry. The temperatures ranged from 34 to 85 degrees Fahrenheit throughout the exercise. Local wildlife added to an already diverse environment. OPFOR makes the difference
May 23, 2016 — There are various sayings and acronyms among the members of the U.S. Army such as “if it’s not raining we aren’t training,” “take a knee and drink water,” and “train as we fight.” Train as we fight is typically the operative of the three and it is a means of attaining the standard. 313th MCB preparing to move again with Yellow Ribbon event

The Army Reserve is utilizing technology to train Soldiers on basic rifleman marksmanship. However, there can be drawbacks to technology – it does not replace the “real thing” that every Soldier needs to experience to completely master marksmanship.

The Warrior brigade completed a nine-month deployment in Iraq as part of Combined Joint Forces Land Component Command – Operation Inherent Resolve, building partner capacity, and advising and assisting Iraqi Security Forces.
