On Target: USAR marksmen have strong showing at FORSCOM

Rep. Heck supports the 314th CSSB as they deploy

Capt. Colin Donohue, 314th Combat Sustainment Support Battalion HHC commander, and his troops salute the colors during a deployment ceremony at the Nevada National Guard Armory November 5. The 314th CSSB will be deploying to Iraq for Operation Inherent Resolve to support war fighters in that area of operation. Operation Inherent Resolve is the U.S. military's operational name for the military intervention against the Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant, including both the campaign in Iraq and the campaign in Syria.

318th Chemical Company supports recruiting events

Soldiers of the 318th Chemical Company out of Birmingham, Ala., supported the Historically Black Colleges and Universities (HBCU) Magic City football classic event, Oct. 25-29, 2016, in order to enhance recruiting efforts and to promote awareness of the benefits of Army Reserve service in the HBCU community.
Magic City Classic (MCC) was hosted in the city of Birmingham and featured instate rivals Alabama State University and Alabama A&M University. These two HBCUs are the largest in the State of Alabama. The MCC is managed by the Alabama Sports Foundation and attracts over 70,000 fans each year making it the highest attended Black College Football game in the country.

Chaplain Sent From Above

LOS ANGELES, Calif. (November 6, 2016) - 
Chaplain (LTC Ret.) Graham Harbman, 311th Expeditionary Sustainment Command, retires after thirty one years of military service. Harbman started his military career as a Navy helicopter pilot for 14 years. He joined the Army’s Chaplain Corps when he felt a desire for helping service members find hope. “There’s something special about walking along someone amidst tragedy, and helping them find that hope to carry on,” said Harbman.
