Deployed Digital Training Campus enhances Soldiers’ training and readiness

Saipan-based Soldiers with the 302nd Quartermaster Company – Detachment 1, 9th Mission Support Command, U.S. Army Reserve, go online to check their military emails, as well as to conduct mandatory Web-based training during battle assembly at the U.S. Army Reserve Center, Saipan, Jan. 10. The Deployed Digital Training Campus (DDTC), which comes with laptops and video teleconferencing capabilities, enhances these Soldiers’ training and readiness by allowing them access to military websites, typically not accessible from home.

US Army Reserve chief of staff honored in military/civilian retirement ceremony

In a retirement ceremony held on Jan. 16, 2016, co-hosted by the U.S. Army Reserve and the University of South Florida, Lt. Gen. Jeffrey Talley, chief of the Army Reserve, recognized Maj. Gen. Luis Visot for his more than 37 years of service to the U.S. Army and the Nation. Maj. Gen. Visot and his wife, Dr. Cindy Visot, were both honored for their extensive time and contributions to their community, to their civilian occupations and to the Soldiers, civilians and families of the U.S. Army Reserve.
