Ultimate Caduceus 2023
Army Reserve Medical Command
March 17, 2023 | 2:40
Army Reserve Medical Command Soldiers from the 7243rd Medical Support Unit participated in Ultimate Caduceus 2023 at Joint Base Lewis McChord, Washington from March 4 to March 18, 2023. Ultimate Caduceus is a Transportation Command-led medical exercise wherein units from the Air Force, Army, National Disaster Medical System and local medical agencies work together to shuttle and provide care for Soldiers coming from overseas. The exercise ensures that military units will be prepared for a mass influx of casualties and incorporates non-military medical organizations in the event as their military counterparts become overwhelmed. The 7243rd used this exercise to serve as annual training, an opportunity to learn how to operate in a joint environment, and as a look at how these operations can be orchestrated from planning to execution.
