Chicago actress portrays Harriet Tubman for Army Reserve observance
Cynthia Maddox portrays Harriet Tubman as one of her five famous African-American Women during the 85th Support Command’s Black History and Women’s History Month combined observance, March 5, 2016. Tubman was not only influential as the Underground Railroad conductor leading hundreds of slaves to freedom, never losing a person, but also as a Union Spy.
