Army Reserve, National Guard SLC students volunteer to help less fortunate service members
Sgt. 1st Class Jamie Benbrook, National Guard member assigned 2-121st Regimental Training Institute, Springfield Ill., and his classmates enrolled in the 94th Training Division’s Quartermaster Senior Leadership Course at the Army School System Training Center, Fort Lee, transfer toys from a vehicle into the Holiday Helper Association Toy Store, Fort Lee, Va., Dec. 5, 2015. Benbrook was one of 23 students who took time out of their grueling 17 week class schedule to help the nonprofit organization prepare for the holidays. They assembled 30 toy bicycles in an hour and they also helped beautify and organize the all-volunteer run facility in preparation of the association’s annual open house, scheduled for Dec. 11, and two Christmas shopping days scheduled for Dec. 15 and 16, 2015.
