FORSCOM/USARC hosts National American Indian Heritage event
There were many displays featuring Native American history during the U.S. Army Forces Command and U.S. Army Reserve Command National American Indian Heritage event, hosted by both command's Equal Opportunity directorates, at the U.S. Army Forces Command and U.S. Army Reserve Command headquarters, Nov. 18, 2015. This Grateful Nation Blanket recognizes the sacrifices of the men and women who have served the nation. Each color represents a service ribbon awarded to veterans dating back to World War II. The event also recognized three members of the Lumbee Tribe of North Carolina and the tribe's contributions to America and the nation's history. (U.S. Army photo by Timothy L. Hale/Released)
