Chicago ruck march held in honor of struggling veterans
Three Army Reserve Soldiers from the 317th Engineer Company march along the Lakefront Trail, roughly 18 miles into the Chicago Honor the Fallen Ruck March. Approximately 450 military veterans, service members and supporters gathered for a 22-mile ruck march on May 22, just days before Memorial Day, to honor military men and women who suffer from Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder or have committed suicide.
