The top command sergeants major from across the U.S. Army Reserve take off for the two-mile run during a practice Army Combat Fitness Test (ACFT) at Fort Eustis, Virginia, Oct. 25, 2019, during the Army Reserve Senior Enlisted Council. The council is a three-day event hosted by Command Sgt. Maj. Ted Copeland, the U.S. Army Reserve's senior enlisted leader. During the workshop the enlisted leaders tackled various topics that affect Soldiers' readiness, training and professional development. They conducted a practice ACFT as they lead the effort to implement the new test over the next 12 months before it becomes the official fitness test of record across the U.S. Army.
