CSM Mulholland began her military career in the Army Reserve on 7 November 1977 and has continued to actively serve to the present date.
CSM Mulholland was promoted to Sergeant Major on 1 June 1996 and appointed to Command Sergeant Major on 2 March 2000.
Command Sergeant Major Mulholland has held positions of increasing leadership responsibility throughout her military career. Key leadership roles include: First Sergeant, 428th Military Police Company, Niles, MI; First Sergeant, HHC, 300th Military Police Command, Inkster, MI; Operations Sergeant Major, 384th Military Police Battalion, Fort Wayne, IN; Command Sergeant Major, 415th Civil Affairs Battalion, Kalamazoo, MI; Command Sergeant Major, 2/84th (Military Police), 6th Brigade (Professional Develop- ment), 84th Division (Institutional Training); Command Sergeant Major, 2/100th (Military Police), 3rd Brigade (Professional Development), 100th Division (Institutional Training); Command Sergeant Major, 9/100th (Command and General Staff), 6th Brigade (Professional Development), 100th Division (Institutional Training); Command Sergeant Major, 2nd Brigade (Professional Development), 104th Training Division (Leader Training), realigned to the 80th Training Command (TASS) and re-designated as the 97th Training Brigade (Intermediate Level Education); Command Sergeant Major of the 300th Military Police Brigade (Internment/ Resettlement), Inkster, Michigan; and Interim Command Sergeant Major of the 200th Military Police Command, Ft Meade, Maryland.
CSM Mulholland deployed to Kosovo in support of Operation Joint Guardian as the Command Sergeant Major of the 415th Civil Affairs Battalion from July 2002 through April 2003.
Her military education includes Military Police Course, Stenography Course, Primary Leadership Course (PLC), Advanced Non-Commissioned Officer Course, Personnel Administration Course, First Sergeant Course, Special Operations Forces Pre-Command Course, Senior Enlisted Joint Professional Military Education Course, and Keystone, Command Senior Leader Course.
She graduated from the U. S. Army Sergeants Major Academy (USASMA) in July 1997.
CSM Mulholland holds a Bachelor of Science in Business, concentration in Management of Human Resources and an Associate of Business Administration in Data Processing and Accounting.
Her military awards and decorations include the Meritorious Service Medal (with 1 OLC), Army Commendation Medal, Army Achievement Medal, Army Reserve Components Achievement Medal (7th Award); National Defense Service Medal, Kosovo Campaign Medal, Global War on Terrorism Service Medal, Armed Forces Reserve Medal with Gold Hour Glass and “M” Device, NCO Professional Development Ribbon with Numeral 4, Army Service Ribbon, Reserve Components Overseas Training Ribbon (4th Award), NATO Medal. Badges include Excellence in Competition (Rifle), Expert Marksmanship Badge (Pistol), and the German Schutzenschnur - Weapons Marksmanship Badge (Silver).
CSM Mulholland retired as the Systems Security Manager for the State of Michigan, Department of Human Services, Office of Technology and Information Management as of Dec 2015.
