Chief Warrant Officer Four Haile M. Leaks is a native of Atlanta, Georgia. Following his father’s footsteps, he enlisted in the United States Army Reserve in 1992 as a 27D, Paralegal Specialist. He was selected to attend Warrant Officer Candidate School in 2006, and appointed as a Warrant Officer One in the Judge Advocate General’s Corps.
CW4 Leaks most recently served as the Senior Legal Administrator with the 150th Legal Operations Detachment (LOD)—Judicial, Alexandria, VA. His previous assignments include: Senior Legal Administrator, 335th Signal Command (Theater) in East Point, GA; Senior Legal Administrator with 3rd Army, United States Army Central in Sumter, SC; Senior Legal Administrator, Capital Litigation Division, XVIII Airborne Corps in Fort Bragg, NC; and Legal Administrator, 2125th United States Army Garrison Unit.
CW4 Leaks’s deployments include: Afghanistan (OEF 11-13) and multiple OCONUS short tour deployments to the CENTCOM Area of Responsibility between August 2017 and September 2019.
CW4 Leaks is a graduate of the Warrant Officer Senior Staff Course, Judge Advocate Warrant Officer Intermediate Level Education Course, Army Knowledge Management Qualification Course, and Judge Advocate Warrant Officer Advanced Course. He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems from St. Leo University and is a member of the National Organization of Black Law Enforcement Officers.
