Chief Warrant Officer 4 Eric G. Brooker

Command Chief Warrant Officer

Chief Warrant Officer 4 Eric G. Brooker is the current Command Chief Warrant Officer for 76th Operational Response Command.  He is a native of South Carolina and is a graduate of The Ohio State University with a Bachelor of Science in Natural Resources.  Brooker enlisted in the Army in 1990 and after being promoted to Staff Sergeant, Brooker was admitted as a Warrant Officer Candidate.  Upon graduation, Brooker was assigned to 841st Transportation Battalion (SDDC) as a DDST OIC for Port Operations. 

His experience includes being a Mobility Technician, and Logistics Management Specialist, with 1182d Transportation Battalion, Senior Mobility Warrant, Traffic Management Division, 841st Transportation Battalion, and other positions with increasing responsibility.  Chief Warrant Officer 4 Brooker's deployment assignments include Multi-Modal Movement Officer, Camp Arifjan, Kuwait, Support Operations Section (Forward), Kandahar, Afghanistan and as the lead for the Land Transportation Section, Support Operations, 310th Expeditionary Sustainment Command, Ballad, Iraq. 

Brooker is a graduate of the Warrant Officer Basic Course, Warrant Officer Advanced Course, Warrant Officer Intermediate Level Education and Warrant Officer Senior Service Education.  He has also trained in a myriad of other areas including Joint Operation Planning and Executing System (JOPES), Global Freight Management (GFM), Global Air, Transportation Execution System (GATES), and U.S. Army Worldwide Port System Course (WPS).

His awards include Afghanistan Campaign Medal with campaign star, Iraq Campaign Medal with two campaign stars, Meritorious Service Medal, and the Joint Service Commendation Medal.  Chief Warrant Officer 4 Brooker is also a Distinguished Member of the Regiment for the U.S. Army Transportation Corps, and was admitted to the Transportation Corps Regimental Association as a member of the Ancient Order of Saint Christopher.  In 2018, Brooker was the Warrant Officer of the Year (Reserve Component) for the U.S. Army Transportation Corps. 

Chief Warrant Officer 4 Brooker is an avid volunteer, donating his time with the Palmetto Warrior Connection and their Sea Kayak Resiliency Training Program.
