Brig. Gen. Todd L. Erskine serves as the Commanding General of the 310 Sustainment Command (Expeditionary) headquartered in Indianapolis, Indiana. Brig. Gen. Erskine is responsible for sustainment operations and the oversight of manning, equipping, and training five subordinate O6-level Army Reserve commands covering 9 states and consisting of over 7,200 Soldiers.
A graduate of Texas A&M University with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Wildlife and Fisheries Science, his military education includes the Canadian Security Studies Programme, the Reserve Component National Security Course, and Advanced Joint Professional Military Education from the Joint Forces Staff College. His civilian education includes a Master of Science Degree in Human Resource Management from Tarleton State University and a Master of Science Degree in Strategic Studies from the US Army War College.
Prior to his role as the Commanding General of the 310 ESC, Brig. Gen. Erskine served as the Deputy Commanding General of the 377 Theater Sustainment Command (TSC) and was responsible for theater sustainment operations and for the oversight of manning, equipping, and training of six subordinate one star Army Reserve Commands. He also served as the Deputy Commanding General-Operational Command Post where he supported Army North in a variety of Defense Support of Civil Authorities (DSCA) missions ranging from responding to the Nationwide COVID 19 pandemic to providing sustainment for both phases of Operation Allies Welcome.
Brig. Gen. Erskine’s foreign service is highlighted by his deployment to Kuwait as the Commander of the 300 Sustainment Brigade, J1 Personnel Director, Office of the Program Manager – Facilities Security Forces in Riyadh, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, and as the Maintenance Branch Chief for United States Central Command in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom in Kuwait.
His awards and decorations include the Legion of Merit, Defense Meritorious Service Medal, Meritorious Service Medal with Silver Oak Leaf Cluster, Joint Service Commendation Medal with Oak Leaf Cluster, the Army Commendation Medal with 2 Oak Leaf Clusters, the Army Achievement Medal with 3 Oak Leaf Clusters and the Parachutist Badge.
Brig. Gen. Erskine lives in Temple, Texas with his wife of 25 years, Amy Jo. They have four children, Katelyn, Logan, Jackson, and Carson. In his civilian career, he is a Senior Program Manager for Baylor Scott and White Healthcare and a part-time cattle rancher.
