Command Sergeant Major, 7th Psychological Operations Group (Airborne)

Command Sgt. Maj. Lambert began military service in 1988 attending basic training at FT Leonard Wood, MO and AIT at FT Lee, VA for MOS 76V assigned to L Co 158th Aviation RGT in the U.S. Army Reserve.

From completion of initial training to 1996, he served as class IX aviation clerk throughthe rank of Sgt. In 1996 the aviation unit inactivated and Command Sgt. Maj. Lambert transferred to the 245th Tactical Psychological Operations Company (Airborne) and re-classed to MOS 37F. After qualifying in the PSYOP MOS Command Sgt. Maj. Lambert mobilized in support of Operation Joint Forge in Bosnia in 1998. From the time of assignment to the 245th TPC(A) (now 345th) in 1996 through 2004 Command Sgt. Maj. Lambert held the following positions; Assistant Team Leader, Team Leader, Detachment NCO, and 1SG. In 2006, Lambert deployed in Support of Operation Iraqi Freedom as the 1SG of the 310th TPC. In 2008 CSM Lambert deployed in support of Operation Enduring Freedom in Afghanistan as the 1SG of 345th TPC (A). On 15 March 2014, he was promoted to current rank and assigned 316th Quarter Master Battalion in Okmulgee, OK. On 20 December 2016 he transferred to the 17th Psychological Operations Battalion in Austin, TX. After completing two tenures at the Battalion level, Lambert was selected as the 7th Psychological Operations Group (Airborne) Command Sergeant Major, effective 15 February 2019.

Lambert is a graduate of the Sergeant Major Academy in 2016. His awards include the Bronze Star, various joint and service medals, and Master Parachutist Badge. Campaigns included Operation Joint Forge, Operation Iraqi Freedom, Operation Enduring Freedom. His decorations include the Bronze Star Medal with 1 Oak Leaf Cluster, Meritorious Service Medal, Joint Service Commendation Medal, Army Commendation Medal with 1 Oak Leaf Cluster, Army Achievement Medal with 1 Oak Leaf Cluster, Good Conduct Medal, Army Reserve Components Achievement Medal with 6 Oak Leaf Clusters, National Defense Service Medal, Armed Forces Expeditionary Medal, Afghanistan Campaign Medal with Bronze Service Star, Iraq Campaign Medal with 2 Bronze Service Stars, Global War on Terrorism Service Medal, Armed Forces Service Medal, Armed Forces Reserve Medal with 2 M Device and Silver Hour Glass, Non-Commissioned Officers Professional Development Ribbon with 5 affixed, Army Service Ribbon, Overseas Service Ribbon with 2 affixed, Reserve Components Overseas Training Ribbon with 5 affixed, NATO Ribbon, Master Parachutist Badge, Senior Parachutist Badge, Parachutist Badge, Driver and Mechanic Badge, Royal Jordanian Jump Wings.
