Brig. Gen. Patricia R. Wallace is an Army Reserve Officer who was commissioned in 1990. After serving two years of enlisted service she accepted her ROTC commissioning in the Adjutant General Corp at Indiana University, Bloomington, Ind. She earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Criminal Justice and a Master of Public Administration from Indiana University.

Brig. Gen. Wallace’s commissioned career includes her most recent assignment as Brigade Commander, U.S. Army Reserve Pacific Command; Chief of Internal Review, 80th Training Command, Richmond, Va.; Battalion Commander 89th Special Troops Battalion, Kansas City, Mo.; Chief of Internal Review, 85th Support Command, Arlington Heights, Ill.; Operations Officer, 97th Training Brigade, 80th Division, Fort Sheridan; deployed as Executive Officer/Public Affairs Officer, Iraq Assistance Group, 1st Infantry Division, Kuwait; Assistant Brigade Operations Officer, 2nd Brigade, 104th Division, Waukegan, Ill; Battalion Commander, 4th Battalion, 3rd Brigade, 100th Division, Harvey, Ill.; Executive Officer, Headquarters, 85th Division; Detachment Commander and Adjutant, 1st Battalion, 329th Regiment, 1st Brigade, 84th Division, Bloomington, Ind.; Adjutant, 2nd Brigade, 85th Division, Indianapolis; Adjutant, Headquarters and Headquarters Company, 4th Brigade, 70th Division, Camp Atterbury, Ind.; and Security Officer and Adjutant, Headquarters and Headquarters Detachment, 2nd Battalion, 329th Regiment, Camp Atterbury.

Brig. Gen. Wallace is married to Johnathan N. Powell and they have two sons: Moses and Johnathan. The family lives in Elgin, Ill.
