Army Reserve Ambassador Barry D. Gasdek is a retired Infantry Soldier, US Army, retiring as a Lieutenant Colonel and having served in a variety of senior leadership and staff positions.  Mr. Gasdek earned the Distinguished Service Cross while serving in Vietnam.  He was honored for serving as the Legion of Valor (LOV) National Commander from 2008 until 2009 and currently serves on the LOV Board of Directors.  Mr. Gasdek also serves as State President of the AUSA, State Commande of the Military Order of the Purple Heart (MOPH), and Military Outreach Director of the ESGR. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Education and a Masters in Counseling/Psychology. Ambassador Gasdek is very active in multiple civic, military, and private organizations and has established valuable working relationships with military and veterans support organizations and government and community leaders.
