Ambassador David T. Dorrough graduated from Arkansas Tech University in 1975 with a B.S. in Accounting and was commission as a second lieutenant in the U.S. Army.  He attended Signal Officers basic course and joined the Arkansas Army National Guard in 1976.  Mr. Dorrough served in a variety of military assignments for the next 36 years, culminating as US Central Command Liaison Officer to NATO in Belgium.  During those 36 years, Mr. Dorrough became a civil service military technician in both the National Guard and Army Reserve while also pursuing a civilian career as a CPA.  He retired from all three careers in 2012.  He is married to Jo Lynn Dorrough since December 2018.
