YAUCO, Puerto Rico - U.S. Army Reserve Spc. Eduardo Hernandez, shovels dirt off a local road in order to facilitate access to vehicles near Yauco, Puerto Rico, during Hurricane Maria relief efforts, Oct. 7, 2017. Hernandez, who is from Toa Alta, Puerto Rico, is a carpentry and masonry specialist assigned to the 471st Engineering Company, 448th Engineering Battalion, 210th Regional Support Group, based out of Fort Buchanan, Puerto Rico. The Army Reserve is part of the synchronized Federal emergency response system for immediate assistance.
