FORT HUNTER LIGGETT, Calif. - Sgt. Robert Diaz, a soldier representing United States Army Civil Affairs and Psychological Operations Command (Airborne), runs to graders as he completes a day land navigation course before time runs out during the 2022 Combined Best Warrior Competition at Fort Hunter-Liggett, California, April 1. 15 Soldiers traveled to compete in this year’s Best Warrior, hosted by USACAPOC(A), 84th Training Command, and 108th Training Command (IET) from March 31 through April 5, 2022. Competitors are evaluated on their individual ability to adapt and overcome challenging scenarios and battle-focused events, which test their technical and tactical abilities under stress and extreme fatigue.
