Mint Hill, N.C., Army Reserve Soldier mobilized to assist DoD COVID-19 response

BOSTON - Capt. Michael J. Wiewiorski during a shift Apr. 20 at the Boston Hope Hospital, a temporary COVID-19 facility set up at the Boston Convention and Event Center in Massachusetts. Wiewiorski, an Army Reserve physician assistant from Mint Hill, North Carolina, is serving as a member of an Army Reserve Urban Augmentation Medical Task Force, part of the Department of Defense Response to care for patients in areas heavily-affected by the COVID-19 virus. U.S. Northern Command, through U.S. Army North, is providing military support to the Federal Emergency Management Agency to help communities in need.
