FORT BRAGG, N.C. -- - Chief Warrant Officer 4 Phillip Brashear, a U.S. Army Reserve command chief warrant officer for the 80th Training Command, puts on a limited edition Swiss watch created in honor of his father, Carl Brashear, during a video production shoot for the U.S. Army Reserve at his home in Sandston, Virginia, Jan. 22, 2020. Phillip Brashear is a helicopter pilot with combat experience. Carl Brashear’s life story about overcoming physical and racial adversity was featured in the Hollywood film “Men of Honor” starring Cuba Gooding Jr. and Robert De Niro. Phillip Brashear has more than 38 years of military service between the U.S. Navy Reserve, the U.S. Army National Guard and the U.S. Army Reserve.
