FORT HUNTER LIGGETT, Calif. - U.S. Army Reserve Spc. Matthew Villasenor, a practical nursing specialist assigned to the 349th Field Hospital, simulates checking the vitals on a realistic mannequin during a mock-mass-casualty event as part of Combat Support Training Exercise (CSTX) 91-23-01 June 15, 2023. Villasenor obtained his LPN license as a part of his Army Reserve training and has been able to use that certification to obtain civilian employment. CSTX 91-23-01 simulates the sustainment of operations in a Large-Scale Combat Operations (LSCO) environment. The training will enhance the lethality and survivability of participating units and prepare them to assume real-world missions. (U.S. Army Reserve photo by SGT Michael Ito)
