Strategic blood supply for Operation Inherent Resolve

BAGHDAD - Blood is inspected for proper labeling at the Role III hospital in Iraq. Blood is an important, life saving product that needs to readily available at a moments notice for traumatic resuscitation. The Role III in Iraq is currently staffed by the 801st Field Hospital and 374th Hospital Center, an Army Reserve unit out of Fort Sheridan IL. The Soldiers of the 801st Field Hospital are responsible for supplying blood within Operation Inherent Resolves area of responsibility.
